NAVIDAD MUSICAL, NAVIDAD SOLIDARIA (con vídeo)
El pasado 18 de diciembre tuvo lugar el IX Certamen de Villancicos a cargo de los alumnos del Colegio Trinitario de Córdoba y el Real Centro Filarmónico “Eduardo Lucena”, en la Parroquia de Ntra. Sra. de Gracia de la ciudad de Córdoba. La actuación tenía como fin recaudar fondos para el proyecto solidario de los Centros Trinitarios que consiste en la ayuda a niños refugiados en la Llanura de Nínive al Kurdistán (Iraq). Con lo recaudado se financiará la compra de leche y pañales para bebés a partir de la edad del primer día hasta los tres años. El total recaudado en este evento fue de 837 euros.
El concierto comenzó con unas palabras de agradecimiento del Director del Centro P. José Luis Obispo osst, a los alumnos cantantes, a la orquesta y coro del Real Centro Filarmónico y a los casi trescientos asistentes, por su esfuerzo y colaboración. Seguidamente, los alumnos de 6º de Primaria y de 1º y 2º de Secundaria interpretaron seis villancicos populares dirigidos por los dos profesores de música del Centro, Rafael Romero y Juan Enrique Redondo acompañados al piano de Francisco J. Márquez. Más tarde, le tocó el turno al Real Centro Filarmónico que también nos deleitó con villancicos populares cordobeses, dirigidos también por Rafael Romero. Finalmente, la actuación concluyó con la interpretación conjunta las dos agrupaciones, poniendo el broche final con el villancico universal Noche de paz.
El espectáculo fue muy bien acogido por los asistentes y los alumnos pudieron disfrutar como músicos ante el público de Córdoba. ¡FELIZ NAVIDAD!

MUSICAL CHRISTMAS, CHARITABLE CHRISTMAS
On the 18th of December, the IX Christmas Carols Contest was held by the students of the Trinitarian College of Cordoba and the Royal “Eduardo Lucena” Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, in the Parish of Ntra. Sra. de Gracia in the city of Córdoba. The purpose of the action was to raise funds for the charity project of the Trinitarian Centres, which consists in helping refugee children in the Nineveh Plain Kurdistan (Iraq). The proceeds will finance the purchase of milk and nappies for newly borns to 3 year-olds. The total collection for the event was 837 €.
The concert began with a word of thanks from the headmaster Father José Luis Obispoto the singing students, the orchestra and choir of the Royal Philharmonic Centre and the nearly three hundred attendees, for their effort and collaboration. Next, the 6th year Primary and 1st and 2nd Secondary students performed six popular Christmas carols led by the Centre’s two music teachers, Rafael Romero and Juan Enrique Redondo accompanied on the piano by Francisco J. Márquez. Later, it was the turn of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir that also delighted us with popular Cordoban Christmas carols, also directed by Rafael Romero. Finally, the performance concluded with the joint interpretation of the two groups, putting the final touch on the evening with the universal Christmas carol Silent night.
The show was very well received by the audience and the students enjoyed being musiciansfor a night, in front of the Cordoban public. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
